Elektrik GPT
Electrical engineering projects are drawn in AutoCAD, in DWG format, following electrical drawing rules and specifications, and are approved by the relevant authorities. Before we quote on a project, we as electrical engineers take every electrical symbol from the DWG drawings (switches, sockets, light fittings), along with cable lengths and the number of feeders and final circuits, turn them into figures in Excel, prepare the survey and bill of quantities, and base our installation and labour quotes on them. Depending on the size of the project, this can take hours, sometimes days.
That is where the idea for Elektrik GPT came from. Used through a web interface, the AI-assisted Elektrik GPT analyses all the survey and take-off work for your project in minutes and gives you a report in Excel and PDF.

Showcase
The sign-in screen: a project comes alive inside a house
As Elektrik GPT opens, a two-storey cutaway house builds itself: PV panels and an inverter on the roof, energy flowing from the panel to lights, sockets, the air conditioner and the washing machine. The AI scans the project and greets you. The video has sound.
Recorded from the real sign-in screen; the data shown is sample data.
What it does
Take-off from the drawing
Recognises and counts the switch, socket, light-fitting and junction-box symbols in the DWG drawing; when deriving feeder and circuit counts it applies the parallel and standard circuit rules separately.
Load calculation
Groups lighting, socket, HVAC and special loads, then computes total demand with the applicable demand factor.
Sizing suggestions
Suggests the main breaker, riser cable and residual-current device for the calculated load. The engineer makes the call.
Reports and output
Produces the survey and bill of quantities, the load schedule and a skipped-items report as Excel and PDF.
Honest limits
- Elektrik GPT does not decide for the engineer; it prepares the calculation, and the engineer who signs makes the decision.
- It never passes over an item silently — everything skipped is reported in a separate list with its reason.
- It does not draw the design; it reads the approved DWG drawing. It produces survey, take-off and calculations; drawing is a separate process.
Want to be a pilot user?
Try it on one of your own projects. All we ask in return is that you tell us where the software got it wrong.
